The streets of Hamilton will ignite over three days for the ITM400 Hamilton as the V8 Supercars Championship hits the track for one ultimate showdown from April 20 – 22. 2012 is set to deliver even more excitement and explosive action both on and off the track as Championship driver’s battle through 400kms of unforgiving street racing to claim New Zealand victory.

Get ready to race by day and rock all night as legendary rockers INXS come to town to headline the heart-thumping Saturday night concert.

The ITM400 Hamilton will deliver the whole package – great value, great racing and great entertainment! Don't miss your opportunity to experience New Zealand’s biggest annual sporting event when the V8 Supercars battle it out through the inner city streets of Hamilton for the final time.

2011 ITM 400 HAMILTON REVIEW

Rick Kelly won Saturdays race, it was his first V8 Supercar race win since 2008. Rick managed to take his team’s spare chassis to victory after his regular car was damaged at the Albert Park event. Todd Kelly also made it a memorable day for Kelly Racing, finishing in third place in Race 5 behind TeamVodafone’s Craig Lowndes.

On the Sunday the local fans went crazy as Kiwi ace Shane van Gisbergen won his first V8 Supercar race at his home event in New Zealand. The 21-year-old bounced back after crashing in pit lane on the Saturday, crossing the line 0.78s clear of Lee Holdsworth. Garth Tander finished in 3rd position from 19th on the grid.
